Pumpkin Painting
This is a cheap and fun kids activity for your child(ren) to freely express themselves!
I told the kids to give me scary faces in the “featured picture”…..😂🤷♀️!!! Creatively, there is no right nor wrong way to execute pumpkin painting…..and that is the beauty of it! Let those imaginations run wild! Painting pumpkins is long lasting and a better option in lieu of pumpkin carving. We tend to paint pumpkins a couple of weeks before Halloween and then on the Eve of Halloween, we will carve them (saving the seeds as a yummy roasted snack…..actually I may try cooking them in the air fryer this year…..I will keep you posted on that). Living in the South, if you carve them too early, your pumpkins may rot quicker, ugh. Pictured below are the materials you will need to facilitate Pumpkin Painting.
Cover your work surface with towels (preferably, old ones that you do not mind getting dirty.) Fill cups half way with water; set aside. Place each pumpkin on a paper plate. Allocate preferred paint onto seperate paper plates. START PAINTING AND HAVE FUN!
