No Bake Sunflower Energy Balls
These little clean eating miracles are the PERFECT snack, dessert or breakfast when you are on-the-go!
Today is Black Friday (2020) AND this is the perfect snack to give you ENERGY for all of your Black Friday shopping needs! What makes these energy balls so amazing is the sunflower butter ingredient! Of course, you can use any nut butter you prefer…..but, I use sunflower butter because it has less saturated fat. My Husband…..as of late…..was informed that his cholesterol is high. Now, he can not blame that on me (lol) because I am very mindful of the recipes and food I serve my family…..it is just that SOMEONE (ahem….my Husband) enjoys his ice cream, cheese and 15 pieces of Halloween candy daily! I will let y’all put two-and-two together…..🧐! I pop these balls in the refrigerator for when his cravings start to hit! Pictured below are the ingredients needed to create my No Bake Sunflower Energy Balls!
This recipe is literally so easy, you can do it blindfolded! In large mixing bowl, combine the oats and flaxseed meal.
Next, add the sunflower butter, honey, vanilla extract and chocolate chips; stir until completely combined and the dough forms.
Roll the dough between your palms to create 1-inch size balls.
Store energy balls in an air-tight container or large ziplock bag; store in refrigerator.
